Parker V and Nathan W Drive in 4/ea as St. Thomas Cardinals 10U Defeats London West Tincaps
Parker V and Nathan W were bad news for opposing pitchers on
Wednesday, driving in four on two hits EACH to lead St. Thomas Cardinals 10U
past London West Tincaps 21-7 on Wednesday. Parker drove in runs on a single in
the second and a single in the fourth.
In what was a slow start for the Minor Mosquito Cardinals, they woke in a big fashion with ten runs in the second inning. In the second Kaden L drew a walk, scoring one run, Cooper H drew a walk, scoring one run, Parker singled on a 2-1 count, scoring three runs, St. Thomas Cardinals 10U scored on a stolen base during Tayven B's at bat. Then Tayven singled, driving in two, and Luke O singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.
Tayven was the winning pitcher for St. Thomas Cardinals 10U. He lasted two innings, allowing three hits and five runs while striking out five. Hayden B, Gabe L, and Luke O all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory. Hayden recorded the last three outs to close out the W for the St. Thomas Cardinals 10U. Chase C was his usual dominant self receiving these fine young arms!
St. Thomas Cardinals 10U tallied 15 hits and 18 walks. Tayven, Luke, Parker, Nathan W, and Gabe all had multiple hits for St. Thomas Cardinals 10U. Luke and Tayven each collected three hits to lead St. Thomas Cardinals 10U. Nathan W, Cameron M, Kaden L, Cooper H, Parker V, and Hayden B all had multiple walks and at least a hit! All 11 Cardinal Batters also scored to lead a well balanced attack at the plate!
