St. Thomas Bantam 1 scores five in last at bat to post come-from-behind victory
Down 9-5 heading into the bottom of what turned out to be the final
inning, St. Thomas Bantam 1 (Sportswood Printing) rallied to defeat the
previously-unbeaten Southwest #1 squad 10-9 on a beautiful night at
Emslie Field. It was the third straight win for St. Thomas Bantam 1,
which improved to 3-2 on the year with the victory. Keegan Harvey (front left) paced
St. Thomas with two singles to earn the gold bat, Evan Jones (beside Keegan) made a
great grab to earn the gold glove and, because every member of the St.
Thomas squad made a contribution to the victory, the golden ball was
shared by the entire team.
