Ferris, Jones, Pennings golden as Bantam 1 (Sportswood Printing) drops opener in Alvinston
On a chilly night in Alvinston, St. Thomas Bantam 1 (Sportswood Printing) dropped its opener 12-7. Logan Ferris (left) earned the gold ball for solid work behind the plate. Evan Jones (middle) earned the gold bat award by hitting .500 in the game with a single, RBI and a walk in three at bats. Caleb Pennings earned the gold glove for stellar work on the mound and making plays in the field.
