Minor Pee Wee '00, 2012 (St. Thomas Minor Baseball)

St. Thomas Minor Baseball would like to extend the date to October 3 for coaching evaluations. This is anonymous and is used to improve our programs. St. Thomas Minor Baseball continually seeks to improve and provide a more rewarding experience for our players and families. For this reason, we ask for your input in completing our Coach Evaluation Form.

The Minor Peewee's played a double header at home Sunday against the Sania Braves and won both games. Noah Medeiros pitched four solid innings in the first game, with Connor Banks finishing for a 11-7 win in seven innings. Sam Popen had three hits and four RBI's. Mike Vanderhyden has three RBI's. In the second game the score was 6-5 in six innings due to time curfew. Mike Vanderhyden, Tyler Simon and Derek Johnston shared the pitching dutuies. Derek Johnston had two RBI's including a clutch hit in the bottom of the sixth for the win.

For the second time this year the Minor Peewee's have swept a season series against an LDBA opponent, beating Dorchester 13-7 on Wednesday night in Dorchester. Derek Johnston pitched six strong innings allowing only four runs. Connor Banks came on in relief in the seventh. Patrick Knight had two hits and scored twice. Sam Popen had three hits and scored twice. Justin Cooper also scored twice. Next Game Thursday at Southwest. This game is for second place on the year.

Tillsonburg came to St Thomas Wednesday night for their only meeting this year and were beaten 14-5 on a curfew called game in the fifth inning. Noah Medeiros pitched four solid innings with Patrick Knight pitching the fifth. Derek Johnston had two hits and three RBI's. Justin Cooper scored three times and had an RBI.

The Minor Peewee's completed their three game season series sweep against London North with a win Wednesday night at home by a score of 14-4. Connor Banks pitched four strong innings, with Mike Vanderhyden completing the game. Tyler Simon and Derek Johnston each had two RBI's.
