St. Thomas 3 Sportswood Printing wins Bantam Central HL championship
St. Thomas 3 Sportswood Printing completed an undefeated 6-0 run through the playoffs to win the LDBA Bantam Central house league championship with a 14-4 victory over Byron 1 Saturday morning (Aug. 13) at Emslie Field in St. Thomas.
Sportswood Printing's starting pitcher Caleb Pennings was outstanding in the complete-game victory and his entire team contributed offensively to a victory that came a day after Sportswood Printing needed two walkoff victories to remain unbeaten in tournament play.
Congratulations to Byron 1 on a terrific playoff run and to St. Thomas 1 Briwood on winning the league championship.
