Big plays in Dorchester
St. Thomas Optimist Rookie Cardinals travelled to Dorchester last night and came up with their first win of the season. The Cardinals were solid on offence and put together 23 runs. The play of the game was on defence with bases loaded, no outs and a line shot to the short stop. When the ball was hit all runners tried to advance. The ball was caught, touched 2nd and the throw over to 1st was a GREAT TRIPLE PLAY! The boys are back in action tonight at home in the home opener against Strathroy
