St. Thomas Century 21 Dan Salhani closed out the regular season with three straight wins thanks to winning both games of a double-header in Byron. Luke Nielsen earned the Cold Stone Creamery Sportsman of the Game. Tom Grignard earned the Gold Bat with six hits on the night (three in each game). Mark Kumafo earned the Gold Glove and the Golden Ball went to the entire team for a fantastic effort. The Cardinals ended the regular season with a 10-8 record and will play in the A group of the playoffs which begin Thursday, Aug. 8 in St. Thomas.
