Having fun at the Cardinal Classic
The St. Thomas Optimist Minor Peewee Cardinals showed off their skills at the Cardinal Classic over the weekend with a 2-1 record.
Game one on Friday was a tough loss to the Toronto Playgrounds. Game two is when it all came together. Ethan Miron took to the hill and pitched a complete 86 pitch game with Taye Donald hitting a bomb that had him given the greatest sign of respect in the game (intentional walks the rest of the game). Game three had Ethan Gibson pitch a complete game 15-2 victory with the whole Cardinal team joining in the hitting. The Cardinals are back in Action tonight with the London West Tincaps in town at 8:30.
