St. Thomas Minor Bantam Cardinals continued their winning ways, capturing the OBA Championship in Leamington, with a perfect 6-0 record.
The Cards proved to be too much for the host Leamington Lakers in the Final, jumping out to a 1st inning 4-0 lead. They never looked back, holding their opponent to 3 hits, earning an 8-1 victory and a 4th OBA Title in 6 years.
