St. Thomas Minor Baseball

Please do not park on the grass surrounding the parking lot at Sauve Diamonds/Cardinal Field.   The property is owned by Fanshawe College who graciously allow STMBA to use the lot during game times, and we appreciate their support.  We don't wish to abuse this support.

If you can hear thunder, you can get hit by lightning. Take shelter immediately. If you cannot find a sturdy, fully enclosed building with wiring and plumbing, get into a metal-roofed vehicle. Seeking shelter in baseball dugouts is not safe.  Do not stand under tall objects like trees or be on the baseball fields.  Stay inside for 30 minutes after the last rumble of thunder.  We would expect all games to be suspended until the 30 minutes and if it is still rumbling with thunder or you see lightning, please leave the park.   

It is the time of year when we are asked about playing in the much warmer weather.   It is our policy to not cancel games due to the heat or air quality, but instead to leave it up to the parent to decide if they want to bring their child(ren) to the game.   Parents should make the best decision for their family.
