The Major Rookies Bring out the Bats on Holiday Monday
The bats were our in full force against the Ilderton Athletics, as four players bagged four hits each in the St. Thomas Cardinals 9U's 17-4 victory on Monday in Lucan.  An early lead helped propel St. Thomas Cardinals 9U to victory.  St. Thomas Cardinals 9U scored on a double by Tayven B, a home run by Luke T, and RBI singles by Hayden B and Cameron M in the first inning.  The Cardinals put up 5 and 6 in each the 3rd and 4th inning to pull away against a good Ilderton team. 

St. Thomas Cardinals 9U collected 35 hits, and had 4 players with 4 hits, and 3 with 3 each as every player recorded a hit and contributed to the scoring.  Some smart defense kept the 9U's in control to help move our record to 8-1 on the season.  Next up, we host a very strong North London Nationals team on July 6th, 6:00pm at New York Central.  Go Cards!
