Major Rookie Cardinals (9U) Suffer 1st Loss
St. Thomas Cardinals 9U fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 11-6 loss to the league leading, defending provincial champion London West Tincaps on Thursday.  Tincaps scored 5 in the first inning with some monstrous hits and didn't look back.  Despite the loss, St. Thomas Cardinals 9U did collect 26 hits in the affair.  St. Thomas Cardinals 9U spotted the Tincaps a 10-1 lead through the first 3 innings before coming alive, and winning the second half of the game 5-1 with some strong hits, great baserunning and sterling defense. 

Tayven B, Luke T, Cameron, Parker, Nathan W, Hayden B, Cooper H, Chase C, and Zephyr H each collected multiple hits for St. Thomas Cardinals 9U, and again all 12 players registered a hit. With the loss, we fall to 6-1, and host the Strathroy Royals at New York Central, Thursday June 29 at 6:00pm.  Go Cards!
