Squeeze Play
A night after a 19 run win, the Cards hit the highway for a road game in Chatham looking to make it two straight wins. But things didn't quite go as they had hoped.

Trailing 3-1 heading into the bottom of the second, frustration set in for the visitors. The strike zone appeared to shrink to the size of a Cracker Jack box. Pitches that have been called strikes all season were balls, and instead of getting out of the inning early, Chatham sent 16 batters to the plate resulting in 11 runs on four walks and eight hits.
Needing five runs extend the game in the fifth, the boys put together a solid inning but could only score three times. Chatham wins it 17-5.
