'02 Cardinals show off skills in Wyoming
The major Mosquito Cardinals travelled to Wyoming over the weekend to complete in their second tournament of the season. Friday nights game did not go as planned with a lose to the home team.
The second game was a great team building game and the Cardinals got off to a quick start and never looked back. Defence was the main focus in this game with pitching down to big plays at the plate that awarded them with their first shutout of the season.
After the game we were off to the hit and run challenge were the Cardinals were able to show off their skills and that is what they did with the awards ceremony announcing the Cardinals. The winners in the top 10 were awarded for their accomplishments.

The Cardinals were rolling by game three and picked up were they left off and continued the team play with more big plays at the plate and good hard contact at the plate to end up on the winning side of the game. Unfortunately we were eliminated from the tournament, however the great team play and team bonding was the highlight of the weekend.
