Formet takes playoff opener 24-4
Grand slams by Cole and Marc, plus base-clearing triples by Baileigh and Spencer powered the St. Thomas Formet Big Red Machine to a 24-4 victory Sunday night in Komoka over DKMB in the opening game of the mosquito west A playoffs.
Beyond great hitting, St. Thomas Formet was blessed to have excellent pitching by Christian and Baileigh, strong defense and good base running.
Game #2 of the playoffs is Monday night at 6 p.m. at the Mt. Brydges arena diamond.
