Go CARDINALS Go!!
The minor mosquito Cardinals travelled to Southwest London over
the weekend. The boys started the
tournament on Friday night with a big win over Leaside, 19-1. Our second game was at noon on Saturday with
a tight game ending in a loss and sending the Cardinals down that long road to
the final. Sunday started with a game at
9 am against Leaside in the semi finals.
This game ended with a 23-4 score sending the Cardinals to the final
where they had to beat the host Southwest team twice.
The Cardinals were focused going into the final and played
with great team play. Every player on
the team knew what they had to do to be successful and pulled their own weight. The first final had the Cardinals winning the
game by a score of 12-8.
There was no stopping the Cardinals in the second final,
they came out swinging hard and playing hard.
They played hard right to the end with a 24-3 victory and first
tournament win of the season.
