It was a long time coming but your hard work has paid off.
Our Minor Rookie Ball Cardinals have come out on top in a big way. On Monday, July 9, 2012, our boys defeated the Southwest Scorpions in a game that was dominated by St. Thomas to achieve their FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON! The final score 23-15, was a great achievement in many ways. This was our boys first win, first time getting 7 runs in a inning with no outs, and going through on batting order more than once in 2 different innings. When the boys realized they had won, the excitement and smiles said it all, quoting a coach, "it's like winning the World Series."
Boys, you played hard, worked together and got the sticks swinging. Your coaches and parents are very proud of you!
