12th Anual Cardinal Classic
The 07' Cardinals take the 12th Annual Cardinals Classic going 5-0 over the weekend while becoming the 1st St. Thomas Team to Capture the Championship in it's 12 years of existence.
The Cardinals started the Tournament Friday night Defeating Barrie 12-3. Followed by an early Morning Game Saturday where the Cards beat Mississauga 20-1 in 3 innings then finishing off Round robin play defeating East York 10-2. Cardinals moved to the Semi Final match up against London Techumseh Sunday morning where they went on to a 13-4 victory and setting up a Championship game against Ingersoll Iron Birds. The boys started a little flat in the 1st inning but the offence exploded in the 2nd and pushed the Cards to an 18-3 Win.
