St. Thomas Minor Baseball is pleased to announce that for the 2013 baseball season they have been awarded one of the Toronto Blue Jays baseball club’s instructional clinics, which are presented by Honda. St. Thomas Minor Baseball applied for this clinic for the six previous years and this year, for the second year in a row, we are excited to be able to offer the clinic in St. Thomas at Emslie Field on June 21 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The qualified Blue Jays instructors will focus on teaching baseball players (8 to 14 years old) of all abilities the fundamental skills of baseball in a fun and structured atmosphere. The clinic is 4 hours in length and the players will be grouped by age.

During the clinic, each group will rotate through stations that will deal with skills such as: hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching, and base running.

The Blue Jays instructional clinic fee is only $40 per player. The Blue Jays are aware of the need for local associations to raise funds to offset some of the rising costs they experience. Therefore local associations will receive $20 per registration for the clinic.

Each attendee should bring their glove, bat and helmet along with a small snack or lunch.

St. Thomas Minor Baseball is asking anyone interested in attending to register at
